Adele Shaffer Corbin

I became interested in genealogy in the fall of 1987 when my son Matt (aged 6 at the time) asked me to explain the meaning of "ancestor." I took him to a cemetery where he had a great great great, a great great and a great grandparent and by the time I finished explaining the relationships I was hooked.

I had to put genealogy aside for the last few years while I went back to school and I have just finished so I hope to get back to the pursuit of ancestors soon. I am married, I have 5 kids and 3 grandkids.

I am a descendant of Peter and Elizabeth VAN CLEVE RADABAUGH, early settlers of Wayne and Adams Townships. I am also a descendant of David and Elizabeth TAYLOR WARD of Versailles, Ohio.

I am a member of the Darke County Genealogical Society and Cincinnati Chapter, DAR.
