Mrs. Riffle Passes Away
Mrs. Leah Riffle, a pioneer of Darke County, died last Sunday evening in the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. H. Jobes, aged 88 years, 9 months and 9 days.
Mrs. Riffle was the widow of Silas Riffle, who preceded her in death twenty-five years. They were former residents of Ansonia, but her later years were spent with her two daughters in this city.
She leaves two daughters-Mrs. F. H. Jobes and Mrs. J. C. W. Coppess of this city, one son Elmer O. Riffle of Paulding, O., two grand-sons, two grand-daughters, and one great-grand-son.
Funeral services will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon in
the church at Ansonia, conducted by Rev. Vorhis of this city. Burial was made in Ansonia cemetery.
