Retired Farmer Had Lived in Greenville 19 Years

J.C. Lawrence, 86, Greenville, a retired farmer, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of six month's duration.

Mr. Lawrence formerly lived in Franklin township, moving to Greenville 19 years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Orville, of Franklin township; Nolan, of West Milton; Albert, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and George, Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Kreider, Franklin township; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Keifer Cecil, of Pleasant Hill.

The body is now at the Zechar Funeral Home, will be removed to the residence of the son, George, at 415 Harrison Avenue, at six p.m. today. Friends may call there.

Body Of Retired Farmer Is Now At Son's Home
--------------
Funeral arrangements for the last J.C. Lawrence, 86, Greenville, whose death occurred Tuesday, were completed today.

A short service will be held at one p.m. Friday at the home of a son, George, 415 Harrison avenue, after which the cortege will leave for the Painter Creek Church of the Brethren where last rites are to be conducted at two o'clock. The Rev. Freeman, of Covington, will officiate. Burial will be at Abbotsville.
