Daughter Lives Here; Has Six Other Children

John B. Alexander, 87 years old Darke County native, died Friday at 11 am at the Virginia Convalescent Home in Dayton after a lingering illness.

Mr. Alexander who was born and reared in York twp., had spent the major part of his life in Darke Co. He was amember of the Christian Church at Dawn.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jessie York, Greenville and Mrs. Fannie Armstrong of Troy; and five sons, William, of Ansonia, Albert, Roy and Eddie, all of Dayton, and Earl, of Union City, Randolph Co., Indiana. There are also several Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 1 pm at the Ullmer Funeral Home, West Third Street, Dayton. Burial will be in the Brock Cemetery. A graveside service is planned there at 3 pm. "
