MRS. JEFFERIS PASSES AWAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Martha M. Jefferis, well-known woman of Darke County, and widow of the late Squire Jefferis, died of paralysis after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Jefferis was 71 years, 5 months and 14 days of age. Five children survive, namely, Mrs. Elmirt Teaford of Baker Store, W. A. Jefferis, of Nashville, Mrs. Viola Fernsler, of near Nashville, O. M. Jefferis, of Union City, Ind., and Dessie M. Ross, of Nashville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 o’clock, at the Nashville Church. Burial will be made in the Nashville Cemetery.
