OBITUARY--BECK.
Mary Elizabeth Beck, daughter of Joseph and Rachel Young, was born in Miami county, Ohio, on January 12, 1862, and was called to her long home March 20, 1911, aged 49 years, 2 months, 8 days. She was united in marriage to E. E. Beck on April 25, 1907. On January 19, 1880, she united with the Greenville Creek Christian Church, in whose fellowship she remained a faithful member until her death. She was always faithful in all her duties, kind to all who knew her, a true and devoted wife and mother, and an example of Christian love and Christ-like devotion to all around her.
She leaves to mourn her loss, besides a husband and devoted step-daughter, one full brother, James Young of near Versailles, two half-sisters, Mrs. Jennie Jennins of near Bradford, Ohio, and Mrs. Lillie Krieder of Painter Creek ; three half-brothers, Ed and Joseph Young of near Bradford and W. H. Young of near New Madison, Ohio. Her father, Joseph Young, passed away several years ago, and she was deprived of a mother's love and care when but two years of age.
Card of Thanks.
The family wishes to express their heart-felt appreciation to the neighbors and friends for their sympathy and kindly assistance, which was so willingly rendered during the last sickness and since the death of their beloved wife and mother.
