H_____________________garet Gep_____________________________ ren, two of whic_______________ the other life. He was mar_____________Isabel Rex June 18th 1856, and was a good and faithfulhusband till the day of his death.

He came to Darke Co., 38 years ago and located on the present site of his late home, where he continued to reside till death. Bro. Gephart was a kind hearted, honest, straight forward, industrious man: He was an obliging neighbor, and a true friend. No worthy man ever appealed to him in vain: He was helpful to the poor and needy. While no member of any local church, yet he was a believer in God, and all things that mak for righteousness, so far as known he hadn't an enemy in the world. For years he had poor health and suffered much; so much so, that it affected his mind to that extent, that he was at the time of his death, not responsible. In his death, the wife has sustained the loss of a true and faith (rest missing)
