In Memory of Our Sister
[poem deleted]

Johanna Davidson, daughter of Allen and Susannah Davidson, was born June 4, 1858, on a farm in Shelby county, O. Her girlhood was spent in that vicinity.

Feb. 8, 1875, she was married to Jas. C. English. To this union were born three children, two boys and a girl, a boy and the girl departed this life in childhood.

In 1891 they moved to Kokomo, Ind., where she lived until May 1913, when she went to Detroit, Mich., to visit her sister Mrs. Jas. E. Reser.

In November she decided to make Detroit her home and went to housekeeping at 312 Forest Ave., W., where she died April 16, 1914, after a short illness. Services were held at the residence, Saturday evening at eight and the body was taken to Kokomo, Ind., at midnight where interment was made Sunday afternoon. She leaves to mourn her death a loving husband, son Ralph and wife, three sisters and one brother, besides a host of relatives and friends.
