Milo Barr, 87, Dies at Home in Ansonia
Milo Barr, 87, a retired Darke county farmer, died at eleven p.m. Monday at his home on North Main street, Ansonia, after a lingering illness.
Mr. Barr had lived in Ansonia for the last eleven years and was a member of the Congregational Christian church there. He was born near Hillgrove and was engaged in farming pursuits in that vicinity for more than a half-century.
Immediate survivors include his wife, Catharine; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Glunt, Mrs. Mollie Glunt and Mrs. Sue Dietman[Dettman], all of Union City; one brother, Blaine Barr, also of Union City, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at two p.m. at the Ansonia Congregational Christian church with the Rev. E. Harold Klingel officiating. Burial will be in Greenville cemetery. Friends may call at the late residence after noon tomorrow.
