MARY ELLEN COX - age 82, of 346 Meadow Drive, Union City, Ind. passed away on August 5, 2003 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. She was born on December 14, 1920 in Muncie, Ind. to the late Noah and Ethel (SHOOK) MINTON. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jim Cox; and one brother, John Minton. Mrs. Cox had worked at the Dayton Power and Light Company. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy Cox, Jr.; one son, Curt and wife Margaret Warner of New Madison; one daughter, Vicki Moore, of Fountain City, Ind.; two grandchildren, Melissa Dubbs and Justin Moore; one great grandchild, Taylor Madison Dubbs, one brother, Walter and wife Barbara Minton, of Covington; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., State Rt. #28, Union City, Ind., at 11:00 a.m. (Indiana time) on Friday. Burial will be at Spartansburg Cemetery, Spartanburg, Ind. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. (Indiana time) on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributaions may be made to the organizations of the donor's choice.
