Catherine Barr, 88, of Ansonia Dead

ANSONIA - Mrs. Catherine Barr, 88, of N. Main street, Ansonia, died at 9 a.m. today at the home of a niece, Mrs. Lee Houpt, of R.R. 1, Ansonia.

Mrs. Barr was a native and life-long resident of the area. She belonged to the Congregational Christian church here. She was the widow of Milo Barr.

There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oliver funeral home here, with the Rev. George Siddall officiating. Burial will be in Greenville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.

NOTE: Anna Catherine Prinzing Barr, Dec. 1871-27 Oct. 1960; formerly married to Daniel Reddick and Lorenza D. Bigham.
