Jobes Death Due to Heart Attack
Weaver Station Woman Leaves Four Children
Mrs. Harriet M. Jobes, 70, wife of E. M. Jobes, veteran watchmaker, died at her late farm home near Weaver's Station on Greenville Rural Route No. 8, at 9:30 p.m., Wednesday following an extended illness from a heart ailment. She was bedfast for the past four weeks.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Ridenour, was a native of Dayton. She had lived in this vicinity for over 40 years.
Besides the husband, she leaves one son, Eugene Jobes, Los Angeles, Cal., and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Olive, Xenia; Mrs. Pauline Ludwig, Long Beach, Cal.; and Mrs. Genieve Brunton, Indianapolis.
The remains may be viewed at the Turpen-McKnight funeral home on West Fourth Street, where last rites are to be conducted at two p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Edgar V. Loucka will officiate. Burial will be made in the Greenville cemetery.
