C. R. Harris Dies; Services Are Set

C. Ray Harris, 82, of 2438 Union City Road, Coletown, died at Wayne Hospital at 6:10 p.m. Monday after being admitted to the hospital a few hours earlier. He had been in failing health some time and had been in serious condition for two weeks.

Mr. Harris was a native of Darke County and was a retired brick mason and farmer. He was a member of the Coletown Christian church.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Philip B. Harris, Van Wert and Robert, of Coletown, and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Charles Looker officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
