Marick Burial Is Planned Thursday
Veteran Employee of Fire Insurance Firm Dead
Calvin Marick, 77, a prominent Coletown resident, died at ten a.m., today at his late home there following a prolonged illness. He had been bedfast for 30 weeks.
Mr. Marick had served as an adjustor for the Darke County Mutual Fire Insurance Company for 37 years and had also served as secretary of the Darke County Mutual Cyclone Insurance Company for an extended period.
He was a charter member of Champion Grange No. 728 at Coletown and was also a devout attendant of the Coletown Christian church.
The surviving relatives include a widow; one son, Charles R., of Greenville, Rural Route 4; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Neff of Loveland, Ohio, a step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest Hart of Washington township; a step-son, Harry Folkerth, Coletown; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lilian White, of Coletown.
Funeral services are to be conducted from the Coletown Christian church at two p.m., Thursday with the Rev. W. E. Souders officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenville cemetery mausoleum.
