Mrs. Margaret Jobes
Mrs. Margaret Ann Jobes, whose death occurred Wednesday at the home of her son, Clarence R. Jobes, on East Fifth street, was born in Darke County, December 7, 1837, and at her death was aged sixty-six years, five months and eleven days. Her death was due to neuralgia of the heart and the attack that caused her death was unexpected and unknown until her lifeless body was discovered about 8 a.m.
Mrs. Jobes maiden name was Reed, and she was the daughter of Isaac Reed, long since dead. Wm. Reed, of this city and Postmaster I. N. W. Reed, of Ansonia, were brothers of the deceased lady. She was the widow of D. H. R. Jobes, who at one time was Probate Judge of Darke county. She leaves two sons, Clarence and Charles, to mourn her death.
Funeral Friday at 2 p.m. from the Christian Church, Revs. Heoffer and Thomas officiating. Interment in the Greenville Cemetery.
