Services Set for Verna Kimmel

Mrs. Verna Kimmel, 84, R.R.2, Eaton, died at Wayne Hospital at 8:15 a.m. today following an illness of two and a half months.

Mrs. Kimmel was a native of Hastings, Mich. [error--this should be MN], but had resided in the New Weston area before moving to Eaton about 20 years ago. She was a member of the Daughters of America at New Weston and the Eaton EUB church.

Survivors include her husband, Isaac; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Miller, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Helen Feierstein, Greenville; Mrs. Esther Harless, R. R. 2, Eaton, and Mrs. Hazel Johns, Dayton; one brother, Lloyd Thompson, Van Wert; two sisters; Mrs. William Hiestand, Rossburg, and Miss Jane Thompson, Datyon; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Oliver funeral home here with the Rev. Harley Brown officiating. Burial will be in Beamsville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of services.
