Wolfal, Mae (Thomas)

Mae Staley Thomas Wolfal, 99, 405 Chestnut St. Greenville, formerly of Hollansburg, died Wednesday afternoon at Wayne Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past few years. She was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Laura (Moore) Thomas.
She was a native and life long resident of Darke County and was employed as a saleslady for Knollenbergs Department Store in Richmond, retiring in 1970. she was a member of the Hollansburg United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a brother, Robert L. Thomas, Englewood, Ohio. In additioon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everitt, in Feburary of 1948; Two brothers and one sister.
Services were held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hollansburg United Church of Christ with Revs. Rodney Byers and Larry Ganger officiating. Burial wil be in Hollansburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Storch-Braund Funeral Home, New Madison and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
