Elmer F. KLOPFER, 80, of 7091 Children's Home ~ Bradford Road, Greenville died 5:55 a.m. today at his residence. He had been failing health the past year.

Mr. KLOPFER was born June 20, 1900 in Darke County, son of the late Frank and Lucy (STICKLEY) KLOPFER. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and had retired years ago from farming after which he had worked for HARTZELL's of Piqua.

Surviing are his wife Lillie (ELEY) whom he married June 26, 1926; three daughters, Mrs. Norman (Florence) NEARGARDNER, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Winifred FORSYTHE and Mrs. Roy (Marjorie) JONES, both of Greenville; a son George of Versailles; 14 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Kenneth William KLOPFER.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the MILLER Funeral Home here, with Pastor Marvin RITTERLING officiating and burial following in Greenville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
