Dorothy Ullom
Dorothy A. Ullom, 77, of 7908 Main St., Horation, died at 7:18 a.m. Friday at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, as a result of an auto accident occurring Wednesday in Greenville.
Mrs. Ullom was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Versailles, daughter of Lurton Alonzo and Nettie Marie (Steinhope) Emerick. Also deceased are her husband, Ralph who died Dec. 2, 1988; four brothers, Jesse, Frank, Bill and Jim; and four sisters, Ruth, Mary, Alice Mae and Thelma.
A homemaker, she had been employed many years ago at the former Tomato Factory in Greenville. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Greenville.
Surviving are one son, Marvin of Horatio; two daughters, Sharon and Karen Ullom, both of Horatio; a brother, Charles Emerick of Greenville; one sister, Claire Keys of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, with Craig Adkins, branch president, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may either be made to the American Heart Association or to the Greenville Area Rescue Squad.
