Born in La Grande OR, currently living in Vancouver WA (across the Columbia River from Portland). Mother of 6 (2 still at home), I've been doing genealogy research off & on for 30+ years. Active in local genealogical society, county coordinator for 4 USGenWeb Project counties (Geauga & Seneca in Ohio, Marshall Co KS, Clark Co WA), and "listmom" for Millet,Millett, & Rinebold mailing lists.

My Darke Co. surnames of interest include Millet & Moore. While not my direct line, it's now been pretty much proven that the John Millet (spouse Mary Moore) of early Darke Co. was a brother to my 4 gg grandfather, and a son of Jonathan & Jenet (Edmund) Millet of Voluntown, New London, CT.
