I am the relative of the Nicholas Niswonger, d: 1867, buried in Mote Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. He was married twice, first to Leah Shaffer, the second to Lucinda Boyle. Nicholas and Lucinda had five children, the youngest, Daniel Gabriel, was my great grandfather. My grandmother was Nettie Niswonger, the youngest of three daughters born in Darke County. They moved to central Michigan and had 5 more children. Nettie married Allen Maynard Stacy in 1914. Their first child, Glenn Jay, is my father.
