Source: found loose in Darke Co Probate Court in May 1990; not entered in will book. Peter died 3 Dec 1837.

I Peter Pitsenbarger of the County of Darke in the State of Ohio Do make and publish this My Last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say - - -

First it is my will that my funeral Expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.

Second I give Devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Magdelane Pittsenbarger in lieu of her Dower one Sarl [sorrell?] mare and one red and white Cow and all the household furniture as long as she remains My widow.

Third i give and Devise to my Eldest Son John Pittsenbarger fifty Dollars in two years after my Death.

Fourth i give and Devise to my second Son Abraham Pittsenbarger one fourth quarter of the South East quarter of Secton No five township ten Range four East.

Fifth i give and Devise to my third Son Henry Pittsenbarger one fourth part of the Said Discribed tract of Land.

Sixth i give and Devise to my fourth Son Jacob Pittsenbarger the one fourth part of of Said Discribed tract of Land.

Seventh i give and Devise to my fifth Son Peter Pittsenbarger the one fourth part of Said Discribed tract of Land.

Eighth i give and Devise to Each of my Daughters Elizabeth Saffer Sarah Pittsenbarger Francis Sinia Pittsenbarger Anna Mary Pittsenbarger Pheba Pittsenbarger Lydia Catharine Pittsenbarger Malynda Pittsenbarger Fifteen Dollars to be paid to the three Eldest in two years after my Death and the rest as the Come of age.

Ninth it is further to be understood that the four Sons that gets the Land is to pay the Several Sums herein before mentioned as the become Due and further they are to Mintain the minor heirs; and widow as long as She lives or Remains my widow -----

In Testimony where of i have here unto Set my hand and Seal this Eleventh Day of November AD 1837.
