Date of Birth: April 12, 1837 Darke County d/o John L. Duvall and Catherine Darr (date of birth provided on her death certificate in Redwood Falls, Redwood, MN)
Marriage Record:
Duvall, Isabelle (Belle) m. John N. Whitacre, March 21, 1857 by Dan French, J.F.
"Early Marriage Records of Darke County 1817-1865 A-L, Vol 1 (found at the Garst Museum)
Divorce Record:
Whitacre, Isabelle vs John N. E. Whitacre 1866 Case# 2875 (Darke County, record available through Court House in Greenville).
Had one child, a son, Jackson Fremont Whitacre. He was raised by Isabelle's sister, Jane Duvall Sherer as Jackson Conrad Whitacre (as an adult, he took the last name Sherer).
