Transcribed from a photocopy of a handwritten will found loose (not from Will Book) in the vault of the Probate Court of Darke County in Greenville, OH, in May 1990:
January 21st AD 1863
I John T Pitsenbarger of the county of Darke and State of Ohio do this day make my last will and testament as follows
viz I will first of all that my Just debts be Paid and all my funeral expenses
Secondly I will and bequeath to my wife Sally Pitsenbarger the use and benefit of all my Real Estate as long as She lives
Third I will that my 3 sons Isaic Andrew and John H. Pitsenbarger Shall have the colts now claimed by them
Fourth I will that Lavina and Sarah Jane my two daughters shall have of my personal property to make them Equal with Catharine and Marinda Wiseners
Fifth I will that my three sons Shall have my Real Estate after the death of their mother and they shall pay to my Four Daughters one hundred dollars Each in one year and six months after the Death of their Mother

The State of Ohio, Darke County IN PROBATE COURT, February 23d, A.D. 1863
Personally came into open court J. B. Pitsenberger one of the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and Testament of John D.
Pitsenberger late of said county, deceased, who, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he was present at the execution of the Will--that he saw the testator sign, and heard him acknowledge the same as his last Will and Testament, and that at the time of executing the same said testator was of fill age, of sound mind and memory, and not under any apparent restraint, to his knowledge and belief.J. B. Pitsenbarger
Sworn to and subscribed in open court the 23d day of February A.D. 1863, D.H.R. Jobes, Probate Judge.

The State of Ohio, Darke County, ss: In Probate Court, Feb. 26, 1863
Personally came into open court Amos Wisener one of the subscribing witnesses to the writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John D. Pitsenberger late of said county deceased, and who being duly affirmed according to the law, deposes and says that he was present at the execution of the said writing, that he saw the said John D. Pitsenberger at the request of S. A. Greer, attempt to sign his name thereto, but he was unable to sign same. Said Greer then wrote his name for him + the said John D. Pitsenbnerger, then by the aid of the said Greer made his mark. Affiant further says that he verily believes that the said John D. Pitsenbarger at thetime of executing the said writing was not of sound mind and memory. + that he signed as a witness at the request of the said S. A. Greer Amos Wisener
Affirmed to and subscribed before me this 26th day of February A.D.
1863, D.H.R. Jobes, Probate Judge.
