Samuel Hall Will
In the name of God amen, I Samuel Hall of the County of Dark[e] and State of Ohio being Sick and weak in body but of Sound mind and memory Considering the Certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to Settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it Shall please God to call me hence do therefore Publish this my Last Will and Testament in maner [sic] and form following that is to Say and principally I Commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried and after the expenses of my last sickness and burial and debts are paid that my wife Fanny Hall Shall have the place and proffits [sic] thear [sic] of as Long as She remains a widow She is to have two Cows and the Sheep and as many of the hogs as is considered nessary [sic] Fanny is to keep Rachael and Cinthy and Samuel Hall till the[y] arive [sic] to the age of Six years old if She is Willing a Part or all of them as Long as She can command and provide for them Fanny is to have all the house hold furniture it is my desire that there Should be a Sail [sic] made of the remaining property and an equal Divide made among my Children except Rachael she is to have one Share and a half it is my wish that the Land Should not be Sold untill [sic] my Son Samuel becomes of age or until his mariage [sic] I want the money arising from Sale of property paid to the Children as the[y] become of age or at their mariage [sic] I appoint Isaac C Hall my Executor in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal to this my Last Will and Testament Consisting of one Sheet of paper this the 30th Day of June one thousand eight hundred and thirty six
