Laura; My ancester, William Morrison was born in Virginia in June 1755. He may have been maarried to Catherine Loak om July 26,1798 in Rockingham County, Virginia. They had 5 children, names unknown. He later lived in Butler and Darke Co.'s Ohio and married Margaret Dwellinger. They had 7 children, including my ggrandfather Daniel Dwellinger, born december 16, 1814. Other children were possibly Will, Samuel, Jack and others. William died Oct., 1855 and is buried in Gorden Cemetary, Darke Co. (section 1, row 11, grave 31). Daniel D. lived in Ft. Madison, Iowa, Pike and Adams Co.'s Ill and Caldwell Co, Mo. He died in 1907 in Braymer, MO. Perhaps your ggggrandfather was the child of one of Daniel D's siblings. If you find a connection, let me know. I have more information about Margaret Dwellinger, and some of William Michael in Virginia. I'd like to know more about William in Virginia and how he got there.
