McKahn name

Posted By: Denise McKahn

Hello. I have been trying to do a search of my husband's surname and haven't had much success. I do know that his grandfather Howard was born in Kansas in 1899 and that his father's name was Charles. The only Charles McKahn I have been able to locate was from Greenville Twnshp in Darke County. That record was from the 1880 census. He had a wife at that time named Maud(e). Howard's mother's name was Stella, but I am beginning to think that maybe Charles, who was a doctor, moved to Kansas later and possibly married Stella. I did find a William McKahn (which is also a family name)in the 1820 census, but it's difficult to read. Could somebody from Greenville be able to help me? Thank you very much. Denise McKahn
