Just one piece of hard data here, but there may be other places to look.

David and Ann are in the 1850 Census (below) with children at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/oh/darke/census/1850/0365a.gif

There are some Huber families of interest on Ancestry.com. I also noticed a David married to a Mary Mast and Elizabeth Curtis (a cousin perhaps?). The Miami Valley Genealogical Index has several entries for David Hoover http://www.ogs.org/asp/miami.asp . David Hoover and Elizabeth Curtis were in Montgomery County Ohio.

You may want to attempt other searches. I recognized a lot of family names that turn up in Darke County - incidental to the Hoover / Huber searches.
