Pulling threads (John William Boeshar)

I see that you started a thread in 2000 at:
http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/pageload.cgi?clinton::bashore::1.html
The original topic was descendants of John Basehore b. 6/9/1763 in Lebanon County, PA, who married Susannah Rheiner 8/1797 .
For the benefit of the Darke County Board, Did the other posters to the GenForum thread unearth the correct John William (s/o Henry)?
Here are the parts of the thread that seem relevant. I was not looking back far enough on my orignal search.
Here are some relevant parts of the thread that bear repeating:
"Does anyone have any information concerning Henry Basehore's children? On the 1860 census for Green Twp, Clinton Co., children are listed as Jane, Susan, Sallie, and John. Wife is Sarah. If this is the family I am looking for, Jane married John Grove in 1863 in Clinton Co. I then find Jane living in Clinton Co, in 1870 with husband and 2 kids - Henry and Sarah. By 1880, they have moved to Fayette Co - I think. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance."

"Lisa,
"My Henry Bashore was born 2,Jan 1802 Married Sarah Wilson, the only Child I Know of is John William Bashore born 9, June 1852."---
"Charlena - That is my Henry! I have the death certificate for Jane BASEHORE Grove b. 1844, d 1923, and it lists Henry as her father and Sarah Wilson as her mother! I also have a copy of the Administrator Document after she passed."

I just recently discovered a connection to the BASOR/BASHORE family of Clinton County, Ohio as a part of my SWINGLEY family puzzle and I'm hoping someone here can help me. This is what I know so far, please correct me if you see a mistake in the family connections that I'm making...My puzzle began when I discovered one of my SWINGLEY ancestors was enumerated in the home of a BASOR family in Green Township, Clinton County, Ohio in 1850. The census films were very difficult to read but there were actually two BASOR families living next to each other and both of them had SWINGLEY children in them. The BASOR records were as follows:
Henry BASOR, 46, born in Virginia with Sarah, 29, born in Ohio (his wife); Matilda, 5; Susannah, 4; Sally Mary, 1; and then Caleb SWINGLEY, 16. All these young people were born in Ohio.
John BASOR, 45, born in Virginia with Elizabeth, 30, born in Ohio (his wife); Susannah, 70, born in either Pennsylvania or Vorginia; John H. SWINGLEY, 16; Rebecca S. SWINGLEY, 9; Elvira Jane BASOR, 17; and David BASOR, 30. John, Rebecca, Elvira Jane, and David were all born in Ohio.
Through secondary sources, like WorldConnect and others, I discovered a Mary Catherine BASHORE who married Johann Peter SWINGLEY. Mary Catherine is listed as the daughter of Bernhardt "Barney" BASHORE and his wife, Caroline. The only child listed of Johann Peter and Mary Catherine is Michael SWINGLEY. He married a Nancy RINER. Michael died in Clinton County, Ohio about 1850 and is buried in the New Antioch Cemetery in Clinton County. I believe he may be the father of the three SWINGLEY children living in the two BASOR/BASHORE homes.
Another piece of information is that Mary Catherine (BASHORE) SWINGLEY had several siblings and among them was a brother named John. This John supposedly died in Clinton County, Ohio about 1830 and was married to a Susannah RINER. In the 1830 census for Clinton County, Ohio, I found a Michael SWINGLEY, two Henry BASOR/BASHOREs, and a John BASOR/BASHORE all living fairly close together.
Does any of this fit into anyone's family tree? Does anyone have a record of a Mary Catherine BASHORE...especially one married to a Michael SWINGLEY?
Any and all help or comments would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Janie Swingley
