I, too, am interested in the Cole line, beginning with (1) David Cole (from New Amsterdam), (2) Samuel Cole (born 1751) (3) Samuel Cole, Jr. (born 1787) (4) Jane Cole (born 1817) (5) Mary Cole Wintermute (born 1835).
Have you read the article on Joseph Cole from "A Biographical History of Darke County, Ohio" (Chicago: Lewis Publishing Co., 1900)? This article states that Samuel Cole (born 1751) married Anna Rider.
Are there any other sources of information on this Cole family line?
