Fanny Kelly, Mary Francis Stoner MYSTERY

Posted By: Jennifer McDavid
Date: 21 July 2004

There is some question among descendents of Samuel Wilson Jr. (born 1829) and William Wilson (born 1827) as to whether they may have been brothers. Samuel Jr. was orphaned about 1831. His father, Samuel Senior died and Samuel Jr's mother Mary Francis Stoner soon after. William Wilson was also orphaned about 1831. His mother Fanny Wilson (believed to be Fanny Kelly by birth) died about 1831 and his father Samuel Wilson before that time. William had an older sister named Mary who was also orphaned. Can anyone shed any light on this?
