I too am researching the Fisher Family line and I have very little to go on. According to LDS records my great grandfather in 1913 at the age of 37 in the Indianapolis Area. He was born app. 1876. His name according to my mother was Wert Fisher. Having lived in Germany for 13 years I know that Wert could be
WERTER --- WORTER ---- WALT ---- or WERTNER those are the ones I know there may also be others. He married my grandmother Hattie Esmee May since she lived in Missouri with her parents I assumed he had at that point and time moved to Missouri. They had one child Iris Valee Fisher (I find no information on any of them either other than my grandmother under her mother and father) The marriage was very brief, it is possible he remarried later. The last information my mother had was approximately 30 years at that time he was residing in Palmyria Missouri, but I have been unable even with researchers assistance to locate any info on him being there at least under that name. Any infomation would be greately appreciated, I have been researching this off and on for the last 7 years with no luck.
