Got a good mystery going here....
Richard Richards b 30 May 1811 in Carroll Co MD married 15 Dec 1835 in Darke Co to Isabelle Elizabeth FLATER. Some accounts say he was previously married to a Mary Elizabeth FLATER but no proof of such marriage has been found.
In Richard's obituary, it indicates that in 1835 in Darke Co he married "Mrs. Isabel FETTERS". This implies to me that Isabelle had previously been married to a FETTERS or FETTER.
Anyone have a FETTERS/FETTER who died before Dec 1835 that was married to this lady???
