Looking for a link to a Mary Deter/Deiter or Wertz

I am looking for a connection to a Mary Deter/Deiter or Wertz that married a John Sumey. Mary was born in Ohio 28 Nov 1840. Would like to know is she was born a Deter/Deiter and married a Wertz then married John Sumey or if she was born a Wertz. John and Mary were married in Indiana about 1860. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Deter could be spelled one of many ways, Deter, Deiter, Deeter? I have been given her birthdate by a relative and the name Deiter and Wertz have been mentioned. In a few of the census John and Mary Sumey had some of the Deter family members listed with them as part of the household. Thanks...Linda
