Re: NOGGLE/WINDMILLER

Yeah, sorry, as soon as I posted that I realized you meant William Noggle, but I didn't give myself the option to delete my post later, so it's stuck there. But if it does turn out to be a Noggle, it wouldn't be the first time I have found that sort of thing in one of my lines. I've encountered lots of cousins marrying, and step-siblings marrying, and several siblings from one family marrying several of the siblings of the neighbor family so that their children are cousins on both parents' sides. Let's just say some of the branches on my family tree got all tangled up.
This is what I have about the will. It comes from a sheet that someone at the Garst Museum prepared for my grandparents.
NOGGLE, George Senr. - Book A?, Page 29Dated January 3, 1852 - Recorded 24 Agugust 1852
Wife- Catharine (named in recording of will as widow)
Sons:- George, John, Michael and David
Daughters:- Mary Schlechty, Susan Schlechty, Katharine
Edington and Sarah Ketring
Executors: Michael and David Noggle
Signed - George (X-mark) Noggle
Witnesses:- David Hoover and Michael Noggle
-33-
From: Darke County, OHIO - Will - Abstracts 1818-1857It lists Michael as the son, but I suppose it could be an error. I think my grandparents might have copies of the actual will pages. I know they have copies of someone's will, but I am not sure if it was a Clark's or a Noggle's. I will check when I go over there this weekend.
I haven't tried to get further than George Sr. & Catherine yet, but I will eventually start looking. I know my grandpa had mentioned the variations in spelling. If I find anything, I will let you know.
