Isaiah/Nancy Pickett in Parent Cemetery?

Posted By: Robert Wolfe
Date: 7 November 2004

I am searching for the burial place of Isaiah (died 1855, Union City) and Nancy Cochran (died 1872, Union City) Pickett. Family tradition suggests they are buried in Parent Cemetery. Are there records available to document this? I would like to know in order to plan a trip, if they are there.

I would also like to know if any of the places mentioned in this short sketch can be identified:
"Isaiah Pickett and wife moved from South Carolina to Washington Twp Ohio in 1836 and "squatted" on land near Flory's, on Greenville Creek; later he moved to Hillgrove, and built a small house just East of the Methodist Church, where he remained a few years, and later, moved to land between Hillgrove and Union City." (see History of Darke County by Beers page 394).
