According to the Biography of Henry STRAKER (published by Lewis in 1900 and on the Biographies Board (URL below)), he was brought to America by his widowed mother from Hanover, Germany. Henry's third wife was my several great-aunt Elizabeth MENDENHALL. If you descend from Henry, contact me again as I have a little information on his family in Darke Co.
