I ran across a piece of information that Adam Geeting arrived on the Ship Chance. I have not found anything to validate this statement, but note a possible misspelling of the name on one of the "Ship Chance" lists. A later voyage of the Chance was quarantined in the 1770s due to the number of ill on board.
Sept. 9, 1765. Ship Chance, Charles Smith, Master, from Rotterdam, last from Cowes.-216 passengers.
