Some of the material is available at the Garst Museum, including the D.W. Bowman speech text mentioned in the post.
As I recall, there is a box with some one or two page items. If you can't get to the museum, it would probably not cost to much to have the contents of the box photocopied. I don't recall a large amount of family files.
It would be great to be able to find the link that gets to the original family, the family from whom the orphans escaped, and the historical roots of the original family tree.
