I'm that lady in Missouri. Yes, we found the lot in Covington, OH where William Clingenpeel had his hotel, Covington House. But this William C was married to Ann and was a brother to Kilkenny, so named as executor of Kilkenny's estate. His son Wm married Emillia Mote and removed to KS, then on to Rocky Comfort, MO. I also found out that Kilkenny ran the 2-mile tavern just west of Covington in 1847 when he died. I'm close now to finding his grave by an 1850 map detailing the closest graveyard back then, that more that likely is not on a map now.
