To those who have followed this Queries Board since its beginning, thank you for your patience and patronage. It is now my sad duty to announce a change in this board.
As of 5 July 2006 @8:30 pm PST, this Query Board (and ALL other DCOWeb Boards) is a MODERATED board which will mean ALL posts must be viewed and approved by DCOWeb Staff before they appear in the index. Because DCOWeb Staff is limited and not a 24-hour operation, it will mean that some valid messages may not be approved or appear in the index for a day or two. This is regrettable, but impossible to avoid.
This action we take to moderate the boards is a direct response to the robot spamming, mainly for commercial interests, which has in the past innundated these boards with innapropriate and often offensive posts. We have, at this time, no other recourse but to close the open boards so that DCOWeb staff has an appotunity to view every post before permitting it to appear in the board index.
Again, thanks for your patience, and we hope you will understand the reason for this change.
