THOMPSON, SUMMERS, CULBERTSON

I am attempting to obtain details on the following family groups:
James P. (Porter, poss.) THOMPSON, father of Alice THOMPSON. Mother MAY have been (but not necessarily so) Louisa Josephine ?.
Alice in 1885 married Thomas CULBERTSON (b. 1862 KY, d. 1931), and is believed to have died in Ohio in 1899. Alice THOMPSON and Thomas CULBERTSON had children, including son named Frank Summers CULBERTSON, b. 1886 in Ohio, d. 1941 in Buffalo, NY.
Am attempting to confirm/eliminate as a match the James P. Thompson that appears in the 1850 census for Monroe Twp., Darke Co., OH. Also would like to determine SUMMERS connection to family -- No presence of SUMMERS line within two generations in the CULBERTSON tree, so suspect it occurs in the THOMPSON -- and PORTER connection.
