At the Greenville Library you would be able to check the newspaper for an obit.Since you have the death date. The library has the Darke County Cemetery books. Garst Musuem has a family file on the Lorton. It may have wills, obits, family groups etc.The library and Garst both have the Darke county census, funeral homes, marriages, etc, Garst is only open Fri.Sat. and Sun. till the first of March. Hours are closed on Monday, Tues-Sat. 11AM till 5PM Sunday 1PM-5PM.
