I am seeking information about one of my great-great-grandfather, Reuben Clanin (1814-1897). During the 1850s, he may have lived in Darke County, Ohio. If deed records and deed indexes from the 1850s exist for Darke County, Ohio, it is possible that he bought and sold property in that county and that those records could be found. If someone could assist me, and he/she charge reasonable rates, I would be willing to compensate a person for looking for and copying any Darke County deed record that involved Reuben Clanin. Thank you.
