Johannes Veenstra

Dear fellow genealogist,
for some years now I am looking for information about a twin brother of my grandfather's, who left for America on August 12, 1905. I hereby give the following information.
There follows information I found in the Dutch archives.
It is about Johannes Veenstra, born 08-07-1881 in Dokkum, the Netherlands. Johannes left Holland for Ohio on August 12, 1905. As reason for his departure was to search for fortune and went as a student machinist to the United States of America. He had an education and worked as a gardener and did this probably later on also. He went together with a divorced woman, Sophia Klasema (ex wife of Anne Boersma) born 30-10-1863 in Drachten, the Netherlands. This woman had 3 daughters, Rimkje Boersma, born 17-02-1886, Grietje Boersma, born 30-06-1881 and Elsje Boersma, born 17-12-1891, all in the Netherlands.
It is not unlikely Johannes married one of Sophia's daughters.
According to my information Johannes got 2 daughters while in America.
Hoping you will be able to help me or to send this letter through to another address where I will be able to make a chance of finding out more about Johannes Veenstra.
Yours sincerely,
Nan Mulder
