Further research has found Mary Magdalene Creager was born July 16, 1879 in Darke County , Ohio to Clara Martzall and ? Creager. Mary married Frank Aaron Westfall 11-29-1896 at Gettysburg, Ohio, Darke County. They were the parents of four daughters. Mary died in 1948 and is buried at Covington, Ohio. I cannot find a marriage for Clara and this Creager. Clara Ann Martzall was born 2-20-1860 in Lancaster, PA. to Thomas Martin and Mary Katherine Heiss Martzall. I do not know when they came to Ohio. She married Henry Dawin Patterson 12-12-1882 in Darke County, Ohio. They had 9 children. Clara died in Tower Hill, Ill. Mary Creager Westfall became a minister of the gospel and baptized her grandson in 1940 at Christianburg , Ohio, The 1880 Darke Co. Van Buren Twp. census shows Clara (Clarrie) 20 and her daughter Mary Creager living with Clara's parent's. I am still trying to find out who Mary Creager's father was. I do not have his first name on anything I have researched so far. If anyone has this person listed in their family or knows anything about this situation please help me find Creagers first name.
